Steering wheel clunk

Default Tuttle Click Irvine, CA

Went to the dealer today for free oil change, and told them to check the intermidiate steering shaft for the clunking problem. And they told me the clunk cuz of the JKS disco swaybar link and after market lift (RC 2.5" coil spring and shocks kit) on my Jeep. And they said no warranty. Ughhh!!!

is there another dealer around your area maybe you could take it to?

Yeah, there is another one close by. I will take it there next time, hope that one is a good Jeep dealer.

yea some dealers are like that unfortunately bastards but your right hopefully they will be a good dealer good luck with everything

It's an easy fix, there is a great diy write up with pics in the write up section if your felling handy. Good luck.

Yeah I'd seen that diy, I might endup doing that. But the point is my jeep is still under warranty, I tried to explain about the intermediate steering shaft to the dealer, but they won't listen. I will try to go to another dealer.

Just be adamant, and don't take no for an answer. Be "that guy" cause a little bit of a scene. They hate that! Good luck.
