Well, it took 800 miles and only a few hours on this forum for me to decide on a budget boost for my 08 rubicon unlimited. I just ordered the 2.5 BB from rough country. I've been trolling some of the write ups and other posts, but if anyone has words of advice for the install, let em fly. I'll post pics before/after when it's done.

Just saying high to a local quy. Who did you get your rubi from?

Mike - I got my rubi from Dave Croft motors in Collinsville. I bought my first jeep there in 1993, and a 2007 Commander for my wife last May. I had to order the rubi, my salesman searched all over (as did I) and couldn't get anyone to swap. They have a softtop black rubi unlimited on the lot.

 

Didn't mean to hijack your thread, I see from his website that he has a black Rubi with 1/2 doors. Since this will be my DD I really would like the full doors. I am still waiting to hear back from Royal Gate if they were able to get one of their alloted jeeps reconfiged to my specs.

As you can see from my sig once I get it I am going with the 3" TF and TF arms. Good luck with the lift and install.

800 miles, what took you so long. I did mine at 300. Still a list a mile long too.
