stow soft top rear window

Thanks Toad, and do you loosen off the small section of the softtop on each side of the window before unzipping,
or leave them in place, unzip the window to the top and fiddle to get the bar out?

I wish it was possible to unzip and remove it completely, if it zipped to the bottom perhaps, a good canvass maker might even be able to do it without modding the main part of the soft top.
I use 2 velcro loops because my Jeep was too cheep to come with them.
Does the bar detach roo?

Brisnut, your comment made me go and open my little pack of straps. I've got 2 x with clips onto loops for the back window rolled up and 2 x velcro straps for the SunRider when folded back. Only a tiny packet, it was buried in the soft window box. Maybe yours was delivered with the soft top up and the packet went missing. Mine was the Renegade dual top package.

Yep mine was delivered with the top on, no hard top, so no boxes of bits, it seems strange, I've never noticed this problem on other softtops rear windows, my Landrover ute rolled own, was a much better system, except it didn't have a tailgate underneath I suppose.
