strange noise

Default strange noise

Anybody have a strange noise at foot level when top and/or doors off? when I take top off and now that doors are off im getting a banging noise, feeling down on floor. Ive checked under and nothing is loose. It picks up as I speed up. Its driving me nuts Any ideas?

Sound like something is hitting the floorpan and it is caused by wind turbulence under your jeep. I know you said you checked if anything was loose under the jeep but did you check over your skid plate and in the engine bay? Or mabye its just something slapping IN your jeep because of the wind that gets in it. Just some heads up.

Check your floor mats, they could be flopping around. Just a thought.

Yeah maybe floor mats or something flopping around in the back and causing a vibration being felt in the front

Thanks I checked all over/under. It only happens when roof and or doors off. Its driving me crazy. Thanks
