Anybody stretched their JK - 2 door yet.......??????

 

I think he means make it into a 4 door.

 

Im guessing you mean the wheelbase? Havent seen one stretched yet........would love to see one though.

I imagine it would be a whole helluva lot more work to stretch one as opposed to just getting a 4 door,going with half doors in the rear,and welding them shut.Some body work and a repaint,and you now have a stretched 2 door.This idea might also be a stretch...

This brings up another idea I`ve had.I haven`t seen anyone running full doors up front and halves in the rear to make it appear like the JT.Anyone else thought of this?Any pics????

 

In my opinion the wheelbase of the JK unlimited is to long to be a serious offroader.........The idea of a JK 2-Door with an extra four or five inches of wheelbase is more of what I'm thinking.......

EDIT: I'm not trying to offend anyone that has a JK Unlimited......

 

No offense taken here I know what my unlimited rubi is capable of !

Anyone who thinks the 116" wheelbase is too long to be a serious offroader might want to talk to the guys at PSC. Suicide Sally has a much longer wheelbase than the JK Unlimited.

 

Must not have been the correct place???
