Default Stuck Doors??

Does anybody have any ideas on how to get my doors off? I easily removed the bolts and cannot pry off my driver door. I even tried a jack to lift it off but after weeks of lifting and spraying with Pb blaster and WD40 it is still stuck???

Take the hinges off also. Once they are off the jeep you can work on them better and get them unstuck. Once they are free just clean them up, lube it, and reinstall the hinges.

After that it should be an easy deal.

rotate the door on the hinges as you apply upward pressure on the door. Removing the hinges will screw the paint up on the mount bolts, etc. Put some oommpp in it, the door will come off. Once off, lube the pivot points lightly.

not being an ass, but you did open them up to about 90 degrees from the body, right?

When I got my '07 last year, I'm convinced that the previous owner never removes the doors prioor to my attempt. I tried every tric in the book and finally took it to the dealer to have them do it. $75, done under their care e was worth it to me at that point and remember to put anti-sieze in to prevent future problems. My pins were getting a surface coat of rust causing the problem. I spent 3 hours and was only aboe to get 1 door completely free, and trust me, I got pretty agressive as time went on. I chose to take it in before I broke something in frustration. If you have the money, you might consider it. either that or if you have a body shop you trust, b/c my dealership said that would be the next step if their guys could not do it safely.

What he said....

Dont take off the hinges from the body cause its a biatch to get them lined up perfectly again. Open the door 90 degrees and put some muscle in it... They are a pain the first time, but if you keep the pins lubed they are much much easier to take off in the future...

I third the motion of moving the door back and forth and applying upward force. The only doors i seem to have the most problem with are the two back door because they do not get used very much. The drivers door comes off no problem since i use it all the time.
I just make it a point to lube the back doors every time i take them off.

New Rubicon owner here. Any recommended lube? White lithium or a more liquid one like WD-40?

I put white lithium grease on the hinges each time I go to put the doors back on.. even after a long winter of salt, snow, ice, and grime they still come off easily in the spring.. I think WD-40 is too thin and would wash away
