Default Stupid drivers...Accident!!

Soo today at 4:00pm August 7th,2011.

I was driving through my town of cornwall,on was stopped behind a chev aveo hatchback car at a red light, then the light turns green as normal and we start going, then she decides to slam on her breaks ot make a left turn without a signal!! so i hit her going about 10km/hr. F*CK.

anyway they were all ok ad so was i( i was driving a jeep lol) , we didnt bother calling the police and took down each others information and went on our way because everything is closed until tommorow.

yeah and i have my stock bfg mud terrains, only mod is a 2.5" teraflex kit, stock bumper.

i was actually amazed.

it could end up being my fault because i rear ended her, but she did not have her signal lot on ...and she was trning left, i was in the same lane goin straight, look at the bumper on her car to see where the 2 knubs from my bumper hit hers..they shouldnt be centered or at least more to the right.

PS..Notice the rainbow flag

Damn glad everyones ok. Should always call the police. People try and turn things around in a hurry when they found out how much repair costs are.

Not sure about the laws in other states, but in Ohio, if you rear end someone you are at fault no matter what. Even if they completely lock the brakes in front of you at 50MPH. You are suppose to keep a “safe distance” at all times in Ohio.

co sign always call the police.... always. It's more of a cover your own ass precaution more than anything. And in jersey it's your fault if you rear end someone doesn't matter why.

It looks like theres a ton of damage done to that hatch which isn't going to be cheap to repair. on my gf's fit somone did the slightest amount of damage like this to the hatch and BAM 6K later all new hatch and rearend.

Not sure about your local laws. but where I'm from, unless you call the police and get a report for minor accidents like this, it falls on whoever's insurance the persons car is under.

In Michigan that would be your fault for not keeping a safe distance... Sucks it happened just be glad everyone is ok.. Drive safe and expect the unexpected.
