i only have a hardtop, and unfortunately i don't have a garage and it rains frequently here and it's a pain in the ass to constantly remove the hard top during the summer. anyone have any cheap suggestions that don't involve the factory softtop hardware?

 

Do you mean something to cover it while you have it parked? A trail or cab cover is an option.

 

For driving while raining there is nothing except a Safari top with the door surrounds, factory softtop, or the new Bestop Trektop. However in a light shower a Safari top w/o the door surrounds and the doors on will keep you fairly dry. If you are just talking to keep the rain out while it sits go to Wally World and get a $6.99 blue tarp and some bungee cords or string.
