The shop informed me that the kit from Superior had the wrong pinion shaft seal. I even had Superior call the shop to be sure that was correct. Now, Superior says that they can't get just a seal because someone else packages them. WTF. Shouldn't Superior stand behind their product, just because they have someone else doing the packing doesn't get them off the hook. Any ideas?

Seems like they should make it right one way or another.

Seals are "typically" pretty cheap. Why not see if they will credit you the cost if you (or your shop) can get a new one from the dealer.

Thanks WOL. I received a call from the President of the company. We were able to find one locally. I understand things happen like this, although I might check quality control if this is a frequent occurence.
