Suppose I was thinking about going to Moab Easter Jeep Safari.....
What would I need : 37" Tires, 6" Lift , 2" Lift, 33" tires , all stock?
Nerves of steel ?
Extra everything?
Camping Gear?
Friends in Moab?
Motel It ?
Bring kids (11,13)?
5 Days , 3 Days, 7 Days ?
And what can I expect to take place while there? Break something?
I know nothing of the event it just looks like alot of fun.

I just got back from moab and found out how capable jeeps really are. I have 33's and 2.5" lift and did 99% of the obstacles. Even picking hard lines the jeep would just crawl up them. I'll post my report this weekend with pictures.
Just go slow and you wont break anything, you WILL scuff your bumpers, but the plastic just slides right up cliffs and pads the sharp declines. Again, go slow = no break things.

Just ran Hell's Revenge, Moab Rim, Metal Masher and Golden Spike which are 4 of the harder trails offered by Red Rock 4 Wheelers and no problems, no breaking. Of course there are trails for every level and if you don't have much experience driving you may want to go on some mid level trails the first day or two to see how it goes.
Basically as long as you have a Jeep you'll find something to suit your wheeling needs and level. I wouldn't worry much about spending a lot of money upgrading just for this event unless you are already planning on some upgrades before spring. I think your kids would be a good age to enjoy this.
I love camping in Moab, but it's nice to have a place to put doors/tops etc and get a good shower after the trails. There are lots of options either way.

The more built your rig, the more options for trails.
Kids will love it. Lots to do even when not wheeling.
Safari is the absolute craziest time of year- especially since it has become a hot Spring Break destination in the last few years.
There are several campgrounds right in town as well as over a dozen motels- BOOK NOW or you may not get a spot.
The day before Easter is the craziest. Big Saturday. After Easter Sunday most people leave and the town and trails have fewer people. If i were traveling from a distance, I would attend early in the week or stay a few days after to not have so much traffic on the trails.
There are a couple of good 4x4 shops in town that can handle repairs if needed and when you are in Moab with a Jeep- you have instant friends! Many runs are put together in Motel parking lots or over dinner in a restaurant with complete strangers.

DO IT! I have been to Moab over 50 times- but I'm spoiled, being an almost local.
I agree with all that has been said. As far as upgrades to your Jeep are concerned, my advise would be to be careful. High lifts and huge tires are all well and good but in Moab, unless you want to do real hardcore rock crawling, you are best served by a vehicle with 32 to 35" tires and a modest lift (just tall enough to accommodate the tires of your choice). It is stability you need and a high centre of gravity won't help but hinder. That's even more important for short wheel based JKs than Unlimited ones.
I was out there with other Jeeps with huge lifts that didn't perform half as well as my JK with modest sized tires and lift.
