Default Sway Bar Tearing Brake Line

Hello Jeep community! I've torn my rear passenger brake line twice in the past year while wheeling. The Jeep dealership said they found the problem and are fixing it, but I want to see if anyone else has run into the same problem. They said that the sway bar is contacting the brake line if the suspension is torqued. They said they need to re-route that brake line and they're going to grind down a sway bar bolt that is contacting the brake line. I asked if this procedure needs to be done to all four brake lines, but they said it's only an issue with the rear passenger brake line. It sounds odd to me that this is only an issue with the right side and not the left side. Has anybody else run into this problem? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'll post pics when I get the jeep back from them.

It's a 2011 4 door sport model with a 2" mopar lift and 35" tires (just in case this could affect the swaybar/brake line configuration).

Mine got bent also. I just rerouted it. I think the break line was like $20 from the stealership.

You can rebend the stock one up out of the way with some tube benders.
I made mine bend up on top of the frame rail so it's out of the way now.

Sounds like I Better check mine also. Probably only that side because the way the axle moves with the trackbar.

I have a slight problem with mine with a 3.5 inch lift and factory bump stops. But i have to put some crazy flex on it and it only just touches the hard line.

I removed the rear sway bar because this kept happening. Seemed easier than rerouting the hard lines. I don't know much about brake lines or how to bend them. Would be interested in learning so if anyone has some good instructions I'm listening. I figured a little body roll was a small price to pay as long as my brakes were intact... I don't know??!

Another option is to cut the line (before the sway bar link), flare it, and run a flex line down to the brakes- being careful to route it clear of everything.....maybe down the control arm or inside the framerail.

I bent most of mine up out of the way by hand. I used a bender where the sharp bend was on the stock line.
As long as you don't pinch down/ crimp it, it works fine.
