Has anybody seen a tailgated jk? at sema or anywhere? I was thinking about picking up a 4dr to replace the 2dr that just got wrecked and wondered if anybody has done this yet.. I had a CJ years ago and liked the drop down gate. Also with a drop down gate and removing the rear seats.. rear 1/2 doors.. would be just like a JT,, Now how much room would there be?? Fit maybe a 250cc MX bike in there?? doubt it,, but thinking..

The JK is so wide you won't be able to use a CJ version like people have done on the previous models. It will be harder on he JK. I doubt it's been done.

 

Pull the hinges and put on some different ones,, Why did all the old american war wagons in the early 70's have tailgates that could open both ways? My parents 71 country squire wagon did and that would kick ass as an option on the jk tail..

 

Yeah! I noticed that the Euro JKs open the proper way for a Euro...same as ours. BOOURNS!
