For some reason my tail gate push button has stopped unlocking. I thought it was just stuck, so I released the lock and opened the gate manually but it has done it again. Anyone have any experience with this issue? I'm gonna try and lubricate the mechanism and check the line for the electric locks to see if there is a short somewhere before it reaches the tailgate. I just hope it doesn't have anything to do with the spare tire hanging on the stock carrier.
