I'm giving the $1,800 to my wife to spend so she won't complain about the $8,000 I need for the JK

If I didnt have to pay taxes this year I could've near paid off the loan for my JK.

Doesn't that suck!

What's this nonsense about a "refund"? If you're getting a "refund," at least be honest with yourself and know how much you really paid in taxes (line 63 of form 1040).

My total 2007 federal taxes were enough to pay for my Rubi. I managed to work out the withholding almost perfectly this year though--I only owed the feds an additional $29 today.
