Thumbs up Tech Support Credit well Deserved

I feel I must tell this story because where I got my Tech support from I didn't even spend a penny with them. I was recommended to them by a friend. After talking to Jeremy from RockKrawler for about 10 minutes on the phone which I'm sure he knew I never bought nothing from them because the parts in question, they don't carry. He ask me to email a brief explanation of the problem and some pictures of the front and rear suspension (of course I think I went overboard but this issue with my steering and sway was driving me nuts after three very good mechanics could not find, and I would not bad mouth them because Mechanics and Doctors have some things in common, (opinions , specialty etc.) they where just baffled by my problem and never tried to sell me something to try and fix it. (thank GOD) I will paste my original text from my email because I hate typing.

This is were I'm at right now with the jeep 2008 4 dr. 39,000 4:56 gears Auburn Ected limited slip locker rear,Detroit trutrac Limited slip front dana 30.35x12.50 nitto on 18". Front upper control arms are factory lower are tereflex which are hook up at the frame to the brackets that came with the Rancho sport suspension lift.(http://www.gorancho.com/suspension.p...0_jeep_jk#lift )Rear control arms uppers and lower are tereflex. Pitman arm is from Rancho sport suspension kit.Springs are Rubicon Express 4.5" front and back.JKS front and back END LINKS, FRONT TRACK BAR BRACKET AT DIFF AND REAR TRACK BAR BRACKET AT DIFF, Rear Track BAR bracket at frame is from Rancho sport Suspension.
JKS front and rear track bar, JKS rear Spring mounts.(http://store.jksmfg.com/merchant2/me...de=Coil_Spring .
My problem is the steering has too much play and the jeep seems to sway too much, when I give it gas the steering wheel pulls slightly to the left and I feel the bumps more now in the steering wheel. This all started happening when I changed the control arms, since then I removed the front upper control arms and put factory arms back, help a little with the sway but not the steering, when I changed my springs from rancho to rubicon express it seemed to improve the ride a little, but this was before I changed the ARMS. I had the front track bar bracket from the Rancho Sport Suspension but I had to remove due to stress crack ,planed on replacing them. Please help

Thank you very much for your time Edwin Diaz

This is what I got back

Edwin

Give me a shout. I think I have enough here to go from.

JP

This is what I sent him after we talked and I removed my pitman arm replaced it with factory one.

Subject: Pitman arm

Thank You again Jeremy for the advice and your time, what 3 people could not find in person you found in a picture. I changed the PITMAN ARM back to factory and my jeep has no more steering issues or sway issues. It rides better than the day I drove it off the lot. I will now purchase my future
parts for my jeeps from RockKrawler, because TECH SUPPORT means more to me than saving a few dollars. Thank you Edwin Diaz

His response

Edwin

No problem. We are pretty familiar with that stuff so feel free to ask us questions.

I can truly say that my Jeep now rides great, and I will removed all parts pertaining to my first lift including shocks and replacing with Tereflex TERA VSS TWINTUBE GAS SHCK JK 2.5-4IN front and rear. My next lift will definitely be a RockKrawler. Like I said before tech support to me means more than saving a few dollars, plus this ain't no newbie lift by these guys. My first lift is a newbie lift that I believe does not need the Pitman arm with it. I was definitely a newbie then. I have learned since then and spent plenty of time working on my Jeep and lets not forget the MONEY I spent on it. I now feel I can relax thanks to Jeremy's advise from RockKrawler. Thank you again

Great to hear something positive on this forum about a vendor. We've had a little bit of a negative "vibe" around here lately!

Will definitely look into RK whenever I decide to upgrade from my TF leveling kit.

There is really no reason to have a negative vibe. Ultimately we are all one big community so helping each other out is key.

Glad you got it sorted out Ed. I usually have great experiences with Quadratec, Northridge4x4 and RockKrawler. it always seems they're willing to give some input to help out.
