so my x keeps talking shit about jeeps and how much yotas are better. she keeps telling me about this tellico trail and how hard it is. has anyone done it and have any feed back on it? also where is it located?

I have never done that trail or any other trail at Tellico for that matter. I had planned on going this year and unfotunately the damn tree huggers had it closed....I believe it is located right here in North Carolina..Maybe someone who has had the pleasure of going to Tellico will chime in..As far as a yota being better then a JEEP i guess we know why she is your X..

Search for Tellico Trail on youtube. Some good video to show the trail difficulty.

actually that is one of the reasons she is my x, and the trail closed at the end of 2009, effing sucks i was looking forward to doing it!

me and my friends went all the time started on the tennessee side and ended in north carolina now i live in wisconsin i miss the mountains!

Tellico was an awesome place to wheel and it is where many people grew up to love the outdoors and off roading. There were several very tough trails there. Guardrail, Hellicopter Pad, Lower 2, Slickrock, and School Bus are some of the most famous. Access was limited at first by some "seasonal" closings, with the rest being shut down a year later. The Forest Service claimed that silt was being washed into the Tellico river from OHV use, which endangered the fish. It was really just a liberal forest manager who didn't agree with the expense of the maintenance. Sad story...
