wasn't sure if I should have put this in the anything forum so I just stuck it here...

So I was looking in this post and there's tons of pics of jeeps towing little trailers that turn into a tent that's up in the air. Actually I've never seen that before! But then I haven't been camping in a good 15 years or so (but that is about to change)

But to me they don't look very sturdy.. how much weight can they hold? Why would you want a tent that's up in the air or on your roof? Is it just a because you get less bugs crawling in? Or just a space saving thing?

I'm hoping to get some offroad experience this fall and winter and next year I'm hoping to get a real roughing-it kind of camping trip going with some relatives, I wanna see where my jeep can take me that's a great place to camp and also way off the beaten path

Cool.. pricey though but still.. didn't know they had that much stuff crammed in. All they need is a portapotty add on
