Well, Massachusetts just got slammed with a snow storm. It took me 4hrs to commute home. For some reason, the plows weren't around, and being the first real storm, nobody seems to know how to drive. There were Semis just spinning their wheels.... cars abandoned in the middle of the interstate.... people swerving left to right in the worst traffic you have ever seen.

I got fed up getting stuck in the madness, and didn't feel like working the clutch any more. I decided to open up my own lane, and cruised through. Most of the traffic cleared after passing an obstacle course of stuck Semi's, and I was able to easily cruise (20mph) across 7 inches of snow, no drifting, no problem! Nobody could keep up!

Sometimes those lanes get packed down so much the snow gets compressed to ice. Your own lane+Jeep combo was the way to go!
