Thinking of going to CO2
I'm looking to get a CO2 tank and was wondering if I got just a regular tank like the below, what else would I need at the top end to let it work? I have a hose and guage, but not sure what other parts I need. Also, I see Power Tanks and other brands out there, but they cost a lot, so what's the difference between those tanks and this?
I was researching co2 as well.. are aluminun tanks sturdy or should I be looking for good old fashioned steel? I don't understand why tank/regulator/hose combos are going for 300+ bones.

i would go with alum. tank im wondering why co2 it would have moisture in it . dry nitrogen might be better way to go ? try one of the bottle gas companys and just buy one from them and then just exchange it when needed filled
Have you ever seen somebody turn the co2 tank upside down and fill the tire

on a small tire it will freeze the rubber. This is because they are releasing liquid into the tire instead of the gas. Always keep the tank upright when filling.
good point i fill fire extgs. so im always traveling with nitrogen but co2 depending upon temps can get high pressure 1000psi or more the safety disc is your lifesaver and the bottles valve protector. i personally have co2 bottles out my ying yang but wouldn't carry one in a jeep for just those safety reasons . if i lived in say florida, az or some other really hot place i would really think about the co2 opt. both co2 , nitrogen bottles explode or heads break off isn't safe heck a low pressure 195psi fire extinguisher explodes you could be killed , thats why you don't buy those cheap ones
I have a tank that looks alot like that in my JK,I believe that it is a 25lb tank, it is aluminum,I got the tank, regulator, hose, and chuck with a bottle mount for about $225.00 at a local welding supply company. It costs $20.00 whenever I get it filled.I have noticed that when I fill my tires down near Phoenix with the co2 that the pressure will change by a few pounds by the time I get back to Flag, not sure if it is the drastic temp change or the elevation change but I always check again when I get home.
