Ugh. I was reminded of another pet peeve of mine tonight:
Jeep owners who don't know how to fold down their soft tops.
I saw a guy driving a beautiful Jeep Green 2dr Rubicon tonight. Quite a rare sight.
He had the soft top down and, honestly, it was a disaster. The support struts were all folded up (not locked) and the fabric was all bunched up in a crazy pile. It was so messed up that he'd tied a blue piece of cloth around it to keep it together. I wanted to go and show him how to do it.
Seriously, if you're going to put that much money into a vehicle, at least take the time to read the instruction manual!
Whenever I go to Hawaii I see countless rented Jeeps with mis-assembled hard and soft tops. It drives me crazy...but they're tourists. They don't know any better.
Okay- rant over!
