Wow a hater thread! What a great way for highly opinionated, snooty pootys to judge other Jeeps and give them the old thumbs down. Personally I don't give a rat's @## about what other people put on THEIR Jeep. It is THEIR Jeep and I am sure they had a reason for what ever they did. I may personally NOT like it, and may say so, however I will not rag on someone for personalizing their personal vehicle the way they want it. Enuff said please go back to your ragging, my sides hurt from laughing.

 

Your whole post was one big double negative, telling us not to rag on people's jeep, then sayin you do, then telling us to go back to it...

 

Yeah confusing wasn't it, or isn't it? Just saying customizing your vehicle is a personal thing. I may not like it, and MAY say something in passing but create an entire thread? No probably not. The point is we are all Jeepers whether rock crawlers, mudders, expeditioners, mall crawlers, or just show Jeeps, we are all Jeepers. Isn't that the only thing that really counts? Just because I wouldn't do something does not mean I won't have a good laugh when someone else does it.

 

I hate chrome and Rockstars.

I do have a stinger and the plastic corner covers to hide a dent from when my spare tire carrier swung around.

 

actually, the purpose is if you ever roll your rig on the trail you won't crush your radiator and can hopefully get off the trail under your own power. For those that don't put your rig in this situation I can see how you can think they serve no purpose.
