Default Which tire, LT or SUV?

Can anyone recommend which tire we go with for our LWB Rubi, the Nokian Hakkapelitta LT, or the Hakkapelitta 5 SUV?

My wife loves driving her Rubi, hard. She likes how sturdy the stock tires are on the Rubi but hates the "roll" on the Wrangler Silent Armor we bought for the winter. The silent armor kinds makes the jeep "wallow" side to side, like they are soft or something so we need to get a new winter tire.

I figure the LT's will be nice and stiff like the stock tire, but I'm just wondering if the SUV will be just as good. I have the Nokian Hakkapelitta 5 SUV on my XJ and can feel a huge difference in stability from the Wrangler Silent Armor I had on them before.

Anyone have any experience with any of these tires?

Thanks.

Yes, it's a 6 speed and drives it like a sports car. I figure the LT's would act more like the stock tire.

I run LTs.

Funny you mention the 'rocking from side to side' thing. Mine did this when I had the stock Goodyear (non-Rubi) tires but had replaced the my stock "X" coils and shocks with those from a 4 door Rubi. I definitely like my new tires a lot more.

Just found out that Stock Rubi tires are 5 ply sidewall. Is that right?

If so, her Wrangler Silent Armor are only 2 ply, no freaking wonder the wallow from side to side.

Can anyone confirm how many ply the Nokian Hakka LT's come in? If they aren't at least 4 - 5 ply it would be the same wallowing as the Wranglers. Might as well just sipe the Rubi tires for the winter if that's the case.
