I decided to try out some different AT tires. The only thing I can say so far is that the gas mileage has incresed somewhere between 5-10 percent...and closer to 10 percent. The duratracs were sucking gass the day I put them on. Plus the Dura's were fairly quiet when new, but as they got older.....well ...you know what happens. With the Coopers ....when I take my foot off the gas, I roll better because of the lesser friction. I'd bet dollars to doghnuts that these tires will do fine for the offroading I do. But you have to decide the coolness factor on how they look. To me they look fine. 265-75-16 C load.

I thought I would report this because there seems to be not many people with this tire.

This tire will save me 200 bucks a year in gas, not sound as loud, and do what I need to do......and I do some pretty knarly off roading on occasion.

I really like my AT-3's so far, nice and quiet with good traction.

I'll assume sidewall as opposed to....

There's not a whole lot happening on the side walls, but I will post when I get a chance to take some pics.

I had them on my dodge ram a while back, at the time I lived in upstate NY, great in the snow. Drove them across country with nothing but good things to say, except they were a pain to balance, but what do you expect with a 33" tire on the stock Ram 20's. Never again will I own a vehicle with 20's!

They must have put the shiny sh8t on the sidewalls at the shop because they looked better b4. I guess I have to get them dirty and/or wash off that crap. I don't do shiny.

Default Updat on coop's

They suck in sand. It's like skiing in mud but less control. when you let the air out, the sidewalls do not add anything. Duratracs were much betta.

They are great on highway, quiet

They are so so on semi difficult trails, they suck on difficult trails

They are good on basic off roads.

They are good on gas mileage.

They are good (bad) at picking up small stones.

They clear mud fairly well.

Should have kept the duratracs and got another set of rims and used them for offroad.

It sucks having to own 2 sets of tires, and owning these coops lends to the fact that I will have to get something for offroad.

I will g keep these for commuting, but will most likely get a set of offset rims and 33's for offroad.

Not a fan. But that does not mean that these tires do not have a nitch in the market. I do not think it is a great AT.[

Kinda surprised by the sand performance. AT's generally do well on sand.

Think the rubber's too hard?
