Tools..........
In reference to the tools that you need to let's say remove the soft top/ hardtop, doors and or mirrors which would or you carry in your Jeep, I have an assortment of tools at home but the Torx bits, so I will most probably buy a set instead of just having the ones I need which I think are the #30 and #40, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Oh yeah, you will definitely need more than just a T-30 and T-40. Do yourself a favor and buy the whole set all the way up to at least a T-55. Trust me, you will need it as DC seems to love these buggers.
sears has a handy set of torxs on sale 50% of this week.i will pick one up later today and let you know the sizes.this is a small fold up set for 12.99 might have 5 to 7 sizes on it.will be good for taking the top off and some other small stuff.
the sears set is a tree pack of fold up keys.1-torx of t10-15-20-25-27-30 and t40.the t40 fits the hard top.doors seem to need something larger.the set is about 4 1/2" x 1 1/2"x 1" and fits in the back by the jack tools. but wait you also get 2 sets of hex head 1 std 1 metric 1.5mm-2-2.5-3-4-5-6 and 8mm 5/16-3/32-7/64-1/8-9/64-5/32-3/16-7/32 and 1/4.
I just got back from Sears and bought the Craftman socket set 7 pc with the 1/4 drive for the t15-t20-t25 and the 3/8 drivey30-t40-t45-t50 for $29.....in a nice plastic case that I can store with the jack....
