Default Tools..........

In reference to the tools that you need to let's say remove the soft top/ hardtop, doors and or mirrors which would or you carry in your Jeep, I have an assortment of tools at home but the Torx bits, so I will most probably buy a set instead of just having the ones I need which I think are the #30 and #40, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh yeah, you will definitely need more than just a T-30 and T-40. Do yourself a favor and buy the whole set all the way up to at least a T-55. Trust me, you will need it as DC seems to love these buggers.

the sears set is a tree pack of fold up keys.1-torx of t10-15-20-25-27-30 and t40.the t40 fits the hard top.doors seem to need something larger.the set is about 4 1/2" x 1 1/2"x 1" and fits in the back by the jack tools. but wait you also get 2 sets of hex head 1 std 1 metric 1.5mm-2-2.5-3-4-5-6 and 8mm 5/16-3/32-7/64-1/8-9/64-5/32-3/16-7/32 and 1/4.

for the lack of a better word it has a small post or pin in the middle of the bolt so the torx tool will have to have a hole to fit over the post

which should be purchased for the jeep -- i'm imagining that it doesn't need the tamper proof.

btw, thanks for the quick response

I picked up a good set of torx sockets and a little flip-out Swiss Army style tool for the glove box at Home Depot... I think it was around $25 for both, but I can't remember exactly.
