I went topless for the first time today. Taking off the hard top was a piece of cake. Putting on the soft top was a serious PITA. If there was a step to do out of sequence, I found it. It was well worth it though. If I didn't have to worry about the unpredictable weather here I would leave the top off forever. What a nice feeling.

 

Ah, yes... You haven't lived until you've gone topless in your wrangler... It makes up for all the little quirks!

Wheeling topless is fantastic. Driving around town on on the back roads is nice. Driving on the freeway sucks!

 

Wow, I lived in CT for the first 29 years of my life and never heard of Gales Ferry. did a scearch and found it, never spent any time in that part of the state.

 

It is a small burough really, of Ledyard pretty close to the Submarine Base. Lot of hilly windy tree covered roads. Where in CT were you?
