I have had my top down for a few weeks and my doors off for almost a week. Wouldn't you know it? Temps dropped below 30 last night and it was snowing went I went to lunch today. It was 26 driving into work this morning.

I thought I was pretty tough when it comes to cold, but I wimped out and put the bikini top on to keep the snow out.

Yeah, you're not showing the true jeep spirit!!! I too am disappointed.

 

that's right.......I took the front hard top off yesterday because it was 49 degrees and sunny...well by the time I started climbing my mountain the temp dropped 10 degrees and nomo sun....I just said to myself.....self, you can do it............but turn turn on the freaking heater and at least you will still look "cool".....

 

You mean it's that warm and you haven't even dropped the windshield yet?

 

Aww, man... you passed up the opportunity for the ultimate "tough guy" mod: amputated frostbitten hands flash frozen to the steering wheel. You get an A for effort. I drove topless in 34 degrees with the heat at full blast, and that was rough, but I can't imagine doing that with snow coming down too!

 

I guess I'm the lightweight....top goes on below 68 degrees. Around here, the only people that have tops down when it's any colder are usually new convertible owners.....but we also shut down the state and call martial law if there's even a slight chance of a flurry.

 

Are you kidding cablerep???? here in MI we take what we can get!! I often have the top off and the heat on full blast....keep the windows up and it keeps some of the heat in....try it if the temps fall below 68

 

Here in NE. in the summer when it's 100* with 85% humidity, we run the top off, doors off with the A/C on full blast!!! LOL

 

Amen to that! You folks can keep your cold.....survive a sweltering Georgia summer and then we can talk.
