Question Tow question

Ok I really need help on this one. Im moving to Ohio tomorrow from Oklahoma and I rented a 12x8 trailer from uhaul. Its a really nice trailer but I have a few issues.

I did the whole measure thing to figure out what kind of hitch drop I needed. Turns out I just needed 0" drop. So I have the brinks ball with 0" drop so it sits a little above the hitch.

When the trailer is empty it sits about perfectly level. When I start loading it it sags a bit and the rear of the jeep sags a little too. Im sure its fine but I was trying to get as close to level as possible. Since I have a 0" drop I cant reverse it. So here is what im thinking.

I changed my shocks to some hydro shocks. The hydro shocks when you compress them they stay compressed. The stock shocks always try to stay extended. If I change my shocks out to the stock shocks do you think that will bump me up a little bit in the back? Or do you guys think it will not make any difference?

Thanks for your help.

PS That cruise control was a royal pain in the ass to install. Well maybe not the control but getting the airbag off was. Im starting to get a little nervous of this little adventure im about to start. But hopefully this will be a start to a good chapter of life. Anyone wheel in Ohio???? Ill be in Columbus!
