Towing with the JK

I tow just about weekly behind my 4-door. Had an '07, just upped to a '10. Both were great with the stick. I can pull my little 8' camper like it is nothing. My 17' boat is a bit more of a challenge. It pulls well back there, but I can definitely tell it is there. A lot of downshifting is needed going up hills to stay within 10MPH of the speed limit. Personally, I wouldn't try it much with the auto.

Ouch. Just ouch. What does your insurance company have to say about it? Guessing it'll be a big ole 'claim denied', and then bankruptcy and jail due to the lawsuit brought on by the relatives of whoever you wipe out. 
Yes, I may be exaggerating it. I know that the JK can tow more than the limits set. But I would certainly be worried about the consequences of doing so...
