Thank you all for replies. The thing is like some said, I don't want to dish out cash for axels, gears, lockers, etc. Financing is an easier option for me. I went to a dealer today to get an appraisal on my sport. Dealership is offering almost $4,ooo over what i owe on my sport, and they telling me i can take my aftermarket parts with me except the wheels. So i can get 35" tires!!! A lot to think about. I want to see what they will offer me price-wise on the new Rubi!!

I would also get another dealer's quote and work them against each other for the best deal. It's often times a good strategy to go in and not talk about a trade at first, but see how much you can negotiate on the new vehicle, then bring up the trade and not let them low ball you.

Best of luck!

I'm considering this same thing myself. Found a 2008 jkur with 85k on it for $20 or $22k. Can't remember. I just want the added beef of the gears and want e lockers. Want to run 37s one day a little easier. Can't afford upgraded axles right now just to do it.
