Trade-In Thoughts
So I just drove a friends 2012 4door....I loved it. Trying to decide if I should trade in my '08. Here is the run down. I have a 3" TF spring and shock lift with 1.5" spacers. 34" Goodyear Duratracs. As well as Rugged Ridge XHD front and rear bumpers.
Wondering if anyone knows if my tires would fit on a non-lifted 2012. I know there is plenty of stuff out there about fitting or not fitting with spacers/rubbing or what not. Also wondering if anyone has done a trade-in and had equipment transferred.
Kind of trying to get some information before I go talk to the stealership, I mean dealership.
For more information on what I have on my Jeep see my sig.

I tried to trade my 07 for a 10 a few years back and the dealers trade vs me selling it outright myself was $4000. I sold it ordered from a different dealer and used the extra money for new tires wheels and lift. They offered 16k I got 20k in just two days of being on CL.

I sold my 2011 Rubi for $8000 more than the local dealer offered for trade-in and bought a new 2012 Sport for $4k under sticker. It's always a good idea to sell outright if you can. On the new ones, deals are out there if you look around. Check the new "car" sections of autotrader.com and cars.com for a radius you are willing to drive for a deal. Some dealers even use eBay to advertise new Jeeps. You can get a brand new Sport with A/C and a 3.73 rear end for under $20,000 right now.

Thanks for the info. Just wanted to check with you guys since you have a lot more experience than I do with regards to this. I love my Jeep, but the Horsepower and the MPG just seems to enticing.
