Honestly, dont bother looking into the idea of a used Atlas (not that you would even find one). No adapter is needed because they make it to fit your specific aplication. Both the flange bolt pattern and the input shaft size/ spines are transmision specific. Buy the trans first then order the correct tcase.

I had an Atlas in my TJ and loved it, nothing else compares.

That's the general gist I've got from most people that have them. I was looking at a 3:1 Atlas actually...but never driven anything with an Atlas setup so wouldn't mind trying it first.

You might what to rethink the need for a Atlas, talk to Robbie from Motec and others who have done the swap.

The 1st gear in the new GM 6 speeds are lower than any previous autos giving you nice low with just an X's transfer case.

Just to clarify, is there any difference between a stock x or sport model JK's transfer case to a Sahara? I keep seeing people mentioning Sahara's specifically with the LS swaps, and it's throwing me off because I thought Sahara's had the exact same case as x and sport models?
