This is the third time my Jeep has been to the shop to have transmission troubles diagnosed? starting to think they're just driving around in it!! Lol . Transmission chatters pops out of gear 1st. broke my wife's little finger last week . I was not happy about that at all !! Clutch pedal creeks pretty sure the throw out bearing is squealing . Would like to know what's going on with all this diagnosing???? Just pull the fucking transmission out and fix it Chrysler . We will see what they say today when they're done? Last two times they seem to figure out the noises coming from the transmission like I told them in the beginning. Wish I could have warranty work done at my local transmission shop?RANT OVER ! Lol

Whoa that sucks. If its under warranty, look at the Lemmon law booklet that should have come with your user manual. I'm not sure exactly what the requirements are, but three times sounds like its getting close to being a Lemmon. What was wrong with it the other 2 times?
That sucks for your wife, share what they find out.

The other two times the same stuff they've never fixed it ! Just diagnosing??? Yeah it's still under warranty. On the plus side Melissa won't drive the Jeep anymore!! Lol. It used to pop out of Second gear once in a long while now it's first and it's happened three days in a row? And when it comes out of first it's with a bang

So my dealer says it's normal to Pop out of gear ! And that racket from my transmission they don't know what it is? They hear it and admit it's doing it but can't fix till it breaks? And according to them Chrysler deems it normal to burn 4 L per 5000 km of oil? It's going to my local transmission guru ! And they are going to fucking pay!! they don't know that yet !! If they can't even find the problem then they can't fix it I'm guessing and the mechanic looks like a fucking retard. So pissed . Go ahead call it whining if you like? What is our factory warranty for?? Just got off the phone with my local transmission shop they said bring it in tomorrow morning Mark and that Chrysler was trying to screw me and they do it all the time!!! He said he well make sure I get it fixed because he's sick of the underhanded dirtiness. So be warned !!

Just so you know, Chrysler doesn't have to pay anything if you take it to a third party repair shop. I would open up a dispute with Chrysler and go from there. You will have much better luck there. Also, I know your're upset, but don't go in there with the frustration you have expressed here, as that can and will work against you.

Good luck.

I will pay for the written diagnosis from the transmission shop. And bring it to Chrysler. And normal to go through 1 liter of oil every 1000 Kms ? Normal to pop out of first gear?

Search this forum... I thought there were other threads about the manual transmissions having issues of popping out of gear. Don't quote me but I thought it was a boot issue (between the tranny and the body??). From what I remember the issue would cause 1st and 2nd gear to easily pop out of gear even under load... so I would search as I thought I read this somewhere before.

I have a manual in my '12 and don't have any issues yet... yet...
