Default Transmission issues

I bought a 2007 unlimited Sahara with 115k, 4" lift on 37s. Drove it 4 hours home. Everything worked great. Now the check engine light it's on and won't shift out of 1st gear. Oil Clean and full, checked with it running. I'm new to the jeep world, any help would.be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. A few things: do you have a code reader? Have you disconnected the battery (both cables) for 10 minutes or longer? It sounds like your rig is in Limp In mode. Disconnecting the battery many times will re-set the ECM and Trans control module. Code reading would be the optimal at this point; you can google the codes for the component with an issue. Many auto parts stores can and do read codes N/C. Just be sure you remember the Code Codes.

pulled the codes. P0882 is the only one. Cleared the code, it's still not shifting. Any ideas?
