Default Trektop and Bestop duster?

Anybody with a trektop also running the bestop duster? I just want to run the bikini top portion of the trektop. Can I just use the tailgate bar supplied with the trektop for the duster? Not sure if it's the same as the factory one.

Thanks

The Trektop and factory tailgate bars are very similar, the way the actually attach to the top is the same. They just have different ways of latching to the Jeep itself. There shouldn't be any reason you can't use the one from the Trektop with the Duster though since it's simply the little plastic tube that the bar slides on to, and those are the same across the board.

Hope this helps! Feel free to get a hold of me if you have any questions!

That's the set up I'm running right now. I had the factory tailgate bar so I just swapped them out. I don't think it should be an issue using the duster with the tailgate from trektop. Hope that helps

if it rained or condensation overnight, would it roll forward off the duster and into your cab or is the duster slanted back to run off the rear? I ask because I live on the coast where fog can come in fast and thick and I'm tired of my trunk and subwoofer getting soaked.

Mine usually has water come towards the cab but it usually goes out the side so the amount that comes in the cab usually isn't bad at all. I usually keep my backseats folded so it just falls near the gap. It doesn't get my subs wet at all

Where can I get a tailgate bar for my dust cover? And how do you get your bikini top to attach to your doors so if it rains it won't get in? Thanks
