Default Trektop VS Rampage frameless trail top.

I looked though the forum and didn't find a thread so here we go, I'm going between the Trektop NX and the Rampage frameless trail top. Which one do y'all think is a better run for my money?

I have the trextop and for the most part love it. Only prob I have is massive rear arch flapping. I like everything is hiddeb under top. On rampage it has exposed rear straps but that said that would prob solve my problem of flapping cause once I unzip windows that's when I flap and rear straps would prevent that. So yep idk which one

I just got the new Rampage top in last week. Pretty good product. I went with it as the beach is about an hour away and when we get down there we like to roll topless...with the rampage I can take the whole thing down. With the Trektop NX you are limited in only taking out the back windows and flipping back the front end. I will say I'm not so sure on the Rampage header through...we are expecting rain today so we will see how it handles it. I also tried an OEM header I had in the attic n it didn't work at all...soon as I got it on the highway it started to peel away from the windshield frame. The ability to store the windows is also a nice option. It also comes with 4 rods that slide into small pockets on the inside of the top to help against pooling of water...so far these just make a lot of racket when your headed down the road..so I relived them. LoL. All in all it's a pretty good product....I think it needs some additional R&D...2nd generation will be better I'm sure. For the price and if your not wanting/needing to take the whole thing off when on the road, I'd say go with the Trektop...def a superior product as far as design goes. And if you don't already had the soft top surrounds you will end up paying more for the rampage...since it doesn't come with them.

Thanks-Mike

I have a trektop on my jk and my father has a rampage on his tj so this comparison may be null and void....

But I certainly would pick my trektop over the rampage top. My trektop is quiet, doesn't pool water, and seems "thicker". The rampage pools water, is loud as hell and seems cheap to me.

The jk already felt like a Cadillac compared to the tj but adding the rampage added to the fact.
