Default Tweels

Has anyone ever seen a set of Tweels in use?
or
Has anyone ever heard of a manufacturer selling Tweels in common sizes for our Jeeps?

You realize that once you get a rock or mud stuck inside that junk, the car will be off balance and shake like crazy? I personally don't think that tweels have any future on car market, but thats just me.

Question seriously?

Your kidding right? Maybe on a passenger car, but not a Jeep, nothing to air down, the would break fifty feet off the pavement, on the first rock they hit.....

Maybe they aren't ready for off-road use yet but I wouldn't dismiss that possibility entirely for the future.

I also had no idea what a "Tweel" was... interesting idea - I don't see it working too well for hardcore off-road use, but then again, who knows what the future may bring?

Ive seen these before, but thought they were still in the R&D stage. didn't realize you can actually get them. and i agree with the rest, nothing to air down though they do seem to flex from that pic, however, the mud getting in and throwing off the balance would be a major issue for sure.

Talking hmmm

Well I suppose I should've done some research before talking, again....

I saw them a few years back, on some show..... I didn't realize that they had potintial for anything but street.... But for the mud, only at high speeds, and you can pic some of it off.....

and until someone else does it, I don't forsee being the goat and going first

Those things look good for rocks but in mud I think they would not work at all. You don't want the flex in the mud.
