I bought two JK Rubicon Unlimited 2008

I bought the first one in March 2007

I bought the second one in Sept 2009 (demo of the dealer with 4500 miles)

There are many different things on it

- No noise issue with the clutch on the second JK (With my first JK, I had noise the first day)

- No insulation under the hood on the first JK

- Straps that hold the doors are very tight on the second JK (hard to remove)

- Bushings of the hinges are completely different

- Shifting in 4LO: I had to drive very slow with my first JK (hard to do it if the JK is not moving) now, it's easy to do it if the JK is not moving, and hard if I drive very slow

- No silver color around the speedometer with my first JK

 

sounds like jeep may have improved some little things

 

Is the '09 an Unlimited Rubicon?

 

Sorry I missed the titled of this thread.

The reason I asked was because some of those changes seem like they appeared in 2009. Maybe they started installing parts and tuning for 2009 model late in 2008.

 

Exactly. I can say that I had an early 2008, and my second one a very late 2008
