Default Two Questions

I'm looking at a 2" receiver cargo carrier. The ones in Qtec and 4WD start at like $150. I know what the general consensus is about Harbor Freight, and I usually agree, but they have an extruded aluminum 500lb rated carrier for $60 on sale this week. It looks very similar to one I saw at Northern for about $120. Should I give it a shot, or am I asking for trouble? (This is not for offroading obviously, just getting the cooler and fishing rods to the boat or the campground.

Also, I'm looking at Hi-Lifts. Is there a big difference between the black with red handle cast and steel variety versus the Red with Black handle all cast variety? It looks like 4WD has the cast and steel one, so it should be fine for most purposes. Thanks!

You mean this aluminum one I got to save weight when removing and installing? It has a 500# capacity and that is all the hitch is rated for according to Jeep. 500# max weight limit on the hitch. BTW I think I paid about the same at Bass Pro at least it was under $70.
