when U Connect is unavailable what can we do to activate it ?

You have to buy and install a UConnect module and then have it activated (for around $75) by a dealer. It will only work if you have UConnect button on your head unit

From what I found out- at least in the 07-08 it can only be activated with a $400.00 of some kind.
Crappy if you ask me
