Understanding tires
That's why the sizes won't work the way everyone here is using them. You have to use the formula that the tire is sized from. It's not as easy as just saying "this size is 33.7" and that one is not". Since the sidewall height is a percentage of the section width, AND different tire manufacturers measure an inch or a milimeter in different ways, there are too many variables involved to try and say that one size should be standard across the board. The best thing to do is come CLOSE and be happy with it.
It does make it difficult when an inch or two is all that's between rubbing a fender or not at full turn or articulation
