Area-51 have you called lately to see if you're moving forward in production? Having finally hit D I'd think you wouldn't wait long to hit D1 and on from there.

As a matter of fact, not more than 20 minutes ago. Nope, still listed as D, no movement beyond.

 

Been about 3.5 months of waiting for me although the end is in sight. I am currently in KZM status and have a delivery date of Feb. 23rd.

 

Bah, sorry about that.

Hopefully it won't be too much longer before they push the button and start welding.

My first post over here. I posted some info on my situation over at jeepforums so don't mean to be redundant.

Aug 14, 2006 I ordered 2dr Rubicon, AT, hard top at my local dealership. No movement on order by Dec. 06. Jeep rep told local dealership order had "stagnated" and better to cancel and REORDER. So my Aug order was cancelled on 13 Dec 06 and new order submitted 14 Dec. 06. Jeep rep assured my local dealership that he would ensure my order went to the top of the list. By early Feb. order had gone to BX but had been moved back to BG.

So, as I'm sure a lot of you can identify with, the waiting was driving me crazy. So upon advice over at jeepforum.com I hit the internet looking for inventory. Found a good dealership about 4 hrs away that had quite a few Rubicons on the lot.

Upon searching and RETHINKING the issue I decided to go with the 4 DOOR version. This new dealership has a beautiful black Rubi sitting on the lot ready for me to drive off. BUT I LOVE FLAME RED!!!! I like Black OK but adore the flame red. New dealership had 7 Rubicons on order. 5 in BG and 2 in BX. They offered to modify one of their BX orders to my specs. They did this and the order priority date is Nov. 8, 2006. I think this is really good of them to do this. BUT, when they modified the order it went BACK to BG.

This is driving me nuts but I feel I've got to be disciplined and hold out for the EXACT Rubicon that I want.

Anybody care to guess when my Rubicon will be in????????? Nov. 8 order with current BG status but at least it is a moving and shaking dealership with allocation!

I think the pole should have been for rubicons only because they have the longest wait times buy far. to combine everything is like throwing everyhing in the pot just to get a number. bytw my dealer still cant tell me when or if my rubi will be built. yes there are dealers that have rubis on there lot but in short supply they all have the same price $$$$$$kkkks over msrp and not letting them go even for msrp. I tried and tried but the all mighty greed is all good to them. I wish that every one whould stop paying over msrp to stop this once and for for everybody sake. just my 2cts. worth.

 

Yes, I thought about making it only for Rubis as that is what i ordered but was in too much of a hurry when I made the poll. I am waiting on a 4 door rubi in silver loaded with standard and GPS. I may just buy an older jeep and move on. Naaaa I will wait....

I would also like to do another poll for the people that ordered and have actually recieved their jeep and how long their wait was total. The problem with that poll is it may not be accurate as production is probably different/ faster now but maybe not.

Anybody want to wright up that poll?

Yeah I hear all your guys pain, I ordered on Sept. 27th and never understood the randomness of their choosing who goes when. I've been calling everyday, but finally got some hope when it went to D1 this month. I love Jeeps and I will wait as long as it takes for my new Rubi! However, now that the end is in sight, I'm more anxious than ever, so painful! Hang in there!
