Default Washing engine compartment

After weekend of serious mudding, what is the best way to wash out the 15lbs of debris accumulated in the engine bay? Anything I need to be careful to NOT do?

thanks

Nope, spray away! Just don't aim the hose in the air intake and you should be fine.

hey Tj wash it with the engine running and dont spray the electrical connections directly and the air box of course. also see my thread about overheating, you might want to clean that rad really good.

As per above posts, except I like to wash it with the engine off. Keeps more of the gunk from flying around and doing a money shot on your face.
