Default Waxing and tops

For those of you with hardtops do you wax them when you wax your Jeep or do you use something else?

I wax mine. I figure it will allow the dirt to come off easier when I wash it. Also make it more aerodynamic.

Thanks, I didnt know if the fiberglass top took wax well and was kinda worried it would turn white and be a pain to get off like when you get wax on plastic trim.

Hey, that's actually a good point. No laughing matter. The dirt issue is a big deal especially when touching the vehicle for maintenance or getting the family in and out. Aerodynamics, good thought. Slick rolling brick.

With all the shit we hang off our rolling boxes, anything may help.

Peace.

Has anyone experienced window streaks with the Turtle Wax Ice or 303 after rain?

I'm real hesitant on putting anyting on the top for this very reason. Had a car with a vinyl top once and had a bitch of a time with streaks all summer long. And that was after only 1 application.

I haven't put anything on my top. I do use Turtle wax ICE on my paint and fenders though.

I haven't waxed mine but need to put something on the top I think. I would think there would be something better than wax for the top.
