For the past few days the site keeps going down for 24 hours at a time.

Is there something wrong with the new server?

 

Hey directedby, to the best of my knowledge, everything is running great and this is the first time I've heard anything like this. When the forum goes down for you, what do you see? Do you get a 'This page cannot be displayed' message or do you still get the forum but without the ability to login? Please let me know.

 

I was finally able to get on last night for the first time since Tuesday or Wednesday, whichever day it was you did the maintenance. So basically four or five days of no access.

I was on for a while trying to catch up on all the reading I’d missed then logged off for dinner. When I came back, I was not able to get on again. Now this morning I can get on again.

The entire time I was locked out, it was the same message, including last night after I’d gotten on. It was your courtesy message telling us it might take up to 48 to come back up after moving to the new server. I was never blocked from the actual site; I just couldn’t get past the courtesy message and on to the forum.

P.S. It's nice to be back. This forum is the only way I'm surviving the waiting game.

 

I too have been having that problem. Yesterday morning until about 10 it worked, then I recieved that message until this morning. Same thing the last few days. It has been up and down. I just figured it was taking longer to get everything up and running on the new server.

Okay, if you guys are still getting to the forum with the courtesy message, you are still seeing the only forum. For some reason or another, the DNS may still be propagating through the web. If you experience this problem again, try accessing this forum by typing out the entire URL www.jk-forum.com as opposed to just jk-forum.com. Ok, if you've been doing it the other way all this time, try the opposite. This may help you out.

I access by going to www.project-jk.com first then I hit the forums button. I go to the project-jk page to see if there is anything new to read.

I have been getting a page that says it will be 24-48 hours for the new servers to work.

Got one earlier today, also. Now a few hours later, it let me into the site.

 

wheeeeeeeeeeew, I thought it was a conspiracy because I was getting my JK before Wayoflife was.

 

Beel -I've been following you and Wayoflife's order process here on the board - when does yours arrive? FYI There's a Red 4dr. X and a black 4dr. Rubi at the dealership near my house in Seattle. Didn't you order a green one?
