Default Weird to run a stubby front and full width rear bumper?

Just trying to get everyone's opinion on running a stubby bumper up front and a full width in the rear? Would you do it? Why/why not?

Thanks

I think lots of people on here do that! Nothing wrong with it at all IMO.

Something like this?

That's what I run. Don't see anything wrong or odd about it.

Same here.... I got a true front stubby and full width rear bumper/tire carrier. Not like it's a "no-no" to run different widths front and/or rear. I say go for it!

Don't worry about what other people think. It's your jeep

I'm merely asking opinions and trying to identify pros/cons if any...

O ok so it's a practicality thing and not looks. Must have read it wrong. In that case it's what I'm running stubby front full back. Seems to do the job.

Having just bought a 2008 JK about two weeks ago, I finally got my order called in for a shortie front bumper with winch, etc. Plan on leaving the OEM rear bumper on until "after" I finish up with everything I want to do on the front.

With me I look at weight. So if the rear bumper is going to be to heavy, I'll just leave it on and paint it. I would like to also install a trailer hitch receiver, which like everything else with this jeep and me, it's all going to be a learning experience.

Default stubby front - full rear bumper

Well , no one makes a stubby rear bumper , for a reason , so the only choice is front stubby , mid width , or full width . It would depend on what kind of wheeling you do . I run a stubby because I like rocks . With no bumper in front of the tires , I can go over big rocks without hitting the front bumper on them. If I had a wide bumper , I would not have the exposure of the tires to rocks and would be slamming the bumper on rocks all the time !
