I named mine Penny. I had her ordered in green. When I picked it up, some staff person left a penny, with a bunch of green tarnish, on the floor. A dorky coincidence? Maybe but, it stuck.

I named mine Oscar, as in Oscar the grouch. I figured it if was anything like our '06 Liberty, the name would be fitting. We had a lot of problems with. After about 10 trips to four different Jeep dealers and $4000 in repairs later, we got it fixed. Thank god we purchased an aftermarket warranty that covered 100% of everything!
My step-son insisted on calling my Jeep Leavy because it's green like a leave. Now we just call it Oscar Leavy. It's been a great Jeep so far and has definitely become part of the family.

What did you name her? and Why?
Jolease... simply because I took her to RC stock and everyone was calling me JoeyStocker because I was mashing over rocks (the only one with no lift/tires/anything) and then everyone found out she was only leased and I didnt own her and it became: Joey lease... and that kinda became Jolease and it stuck... but Its not 100% offical yet... Most of my friends call her "the beast" hahahha

The Jeep, since it is not a car, or a truck, and I am not really creative. My wifes Durango, we call the Durango.

Kids named it...
I bought and stone white jeep with the black fenders and hard top. I am retired Army and teach at a local high school and found out the kids had nicknamed it Storm Trooper. My son had a hood decal made ala "rubicon" style and put it on...
I am not a big Star Wars fan but I like it. beats my wife's nickname for it... "fridge".
