I've jokingly called mine "hooptie version 2.0" to a couple of my friends, but it's usually called "the Jeep" around my humble abode.

Interesting…........

A trend developing with a few un-named "hers" and "shes" so far……….

I'm with everyone else. I call mine "the Jeep". It seems to suit it quite well.

The only problem I see with calling your Jeep "The Jeep" is in a crowded parking lot. You may get several Jeeps answering you back.

My 3.5 year old has named it Sarge (from the movie "Cars").

We were driving in it today and he asked me what Sarge like to eat. It old him mud and hummers. He thought it was the funniest thng and is telling everyone that Sarge eats mud and hummers. He is also doing the Jeep wave.

I have been very active in Search and Rescue for 30 some-odd years. I named my JK "SARA" which is an acronym for Search And Rescue Automobile. Not sure automobile is entirely correct but it works for an acronym! Mike

PS... It ACTUALLY IS well equipped and responds to Search and Rescue Missions as needed!

Last edited by mdantonio; Jan 14, 2008 at 11:06 AM. Reason: Clearify that it is a working SAR vehicle

Mine is named "Jack". I'm not sure exactly where it came from... Although it is a JK, so just put the 'AC' in it and there you go!

Hopefully some day I'll get my wife a red one and we can call her "Jill". Then we can go wheeling in Jack & Jill!

I too called it "Jeep" because that's what was on the collar when I brought it home.

All of our cars have girl names that end in "i" Our little red corvette is Nikki, the other four I will skip and our latest, Jk is named...Jacki, for obvious reasons.
