Default What to do?

This not a jeep bashing post, just requesting a little advice. In just 17 thousand miles, and 3 years, I have replaced the AC compressor 3 times, the head gasket once, rear main seal once, and now my crank shaft seal is leaking. I have probably been to the dealer >10 times. Ive got quit a bit of money put into this rig, but I am near the breaking point. Im not going to sell this privately, Id feel guilty selling an unreliable vehicle. What would you all do? Just keep dealing with the bullshit?

As we all know no one vehicle is perfect. You seem to have gotten one of the poor one's. I would just trade it in on another JK go from there. Unless your not into having a JK anymore. Good luck in making a decision.

The only thing I would take is my winch. I dont have the mental strength to tear it back down.

I don't know if my observations will be any good; feel free to ignore if they don't make sense.
I just bought a new 11' knowing Jeep's poor reliability; hopefully mine won't be too bad.
It seems to me your options are:
1. Keep the Jeep and hope not too much more goes bad in the near future.
2. keep the Jeep and maybe return it a bit closer to stock; maybe some mods. or hard use are causing some breakage?
3. Pull all your mod's off if you still like them and sell the Jeep in stock shape however you can, then buy another new or newer JK and put your mod's on the next JK. (I don't think most people get the best value from selling mods. when they're sold on a vehicle.)
4. Sell the current Jeep w/ the mods and start over w/ a new or newer JK.
5. Sell the current Jeep either w/ the mods and buy a more reliable brand, or w/o the mods, and sell the mods seperately, and buy a more reliable brand.
I personally wouldn't think too much about selling an unreliable vehicle to an unknowing person; all the Jeep (un) reliability data is out there; it's no secret. Jk's as you know hold their value fairly well in spite of that because there's nothing else quite like it at the moment.
Good luck in whatever you decide and Go Gators! (I lived in Fl. for 18 years)
