I wave to all Wranglers, and pretty much any other capable off road vehicle. I don't get many waves back though. I'm thinking about making up a small flyer complimenting people on their choice of a Wrangler, and explaining the wave, and putting them on Wranglers I see in parking lots. I really think most people are oblivious to the Jeep wave, so why not invite them to join!

By the way, what is the protocol during safari in Moab? I think I may have some short term nerve damage from waving so much... I started thinking about getting a "Bobble Head Hand" to put on my dash.

I live in Orange County in So Cal and I wave at all Wranglers and CJ's. I would say better than 70% return the wave. A lot of mall crawlers and soccer mom's driving Jeeps here because of the weather. I do feel a lil ticked when I don't get my wave returned. My wife and two daughters play a game when we are in the JK. We try to spot all the Jeeps we can and call them before anybody else see's them. My 3 yo girl is probably the best and she waves at all Jeeps!
