Sounds like a heck of a deal to me, considering I paid close to that for my 2003 Sport with soft top (full doors), tape deck, no cruise control, 5 speed manual, 3.05 gears (!), open D35 rear, and D30 front. They have really done well with pricing the JK, IMO.

 

No kidding. The only thing that sucks is that I'm stuck on this island for another 4 months. I tell ya...February can't come quick enough. I havn't even seen one in person yet.
I really can't complain about though. I've wanted one of these since I was in high school. The extra 3 months, 15 days and roughly 5 hours won't kill me.

No, not a Marine. My wife's a nurse midwife in the Navy and I'm just along for the ride. Tell your son he'll love it here. It's between 55 and 95 all year round, the beaches are close(right across the street)and nice and the scuba diving is world class and cheap.
